Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) is a SI in a small town of Shivgad who settles every problem in his town. When Kavya (Kajal Aggarwal) comes on vacation to Shivgad with her father (Sachin Khedekar), she is charmed by Singham’s courage and falls in love with him.
Everything in fine until Goa based big extortionist Jaikant Shikre (Prakash Raj) comes to Shivgad to sign a bail but he sends someone else instead of him. Singham demands that Jaikant should come and sign the bail himself. This starts tensions between them and Jaikant gets Singham promoted to Inspector and transfers him to Goa to extract revenge because Singham has control of Shivgad.
